What is non-medical home care?
Non-medical home care specializes in providing clients with compassionate caregivers in the comfort of their homes.
Do you offer short and long term non-medical home care?
We offer hourly, part time and 24 hours.
Do you come to the homes of the clients?
Yes we visit with the family/patient to do an Evaluation of the needs of the patient. After which, a Plan of Care is completed and issued to the client. The Plan of Care is then discussed with the caregiver.
Are caregivers supervised once they are placed?
After placement, our case manager keeps in close contact with the caregiver and the client as well as making periodic visits to ensure that everything is running smoothly.
What are your hours?
Our hours are 8 am to 5 pm each day (Monday thru Friday) but we are available 24 hours, seven days per week in the event of an emergency.
Can caregivers transport and accompany clients to doctors' appointments and activities outside the home?
Most definitely. We encourage our clients to partake in social events as this is a part of Activities of Daily Living. (ADLs).
What are minimum hours you require?
Our minimum is 5 hours.
Does Veterans Administration provide veterans and surviving spouses assistance for home care?
If you are a Veteran or surviving spouse and you need assistance at home, you may be eligible for a non-service disability. Please contact the office for more details.
Who pays for the services?
The client/family pays for the services.
Will insurance companies cover non-medical home care?
Some health insurance companies provide a limited amount of coverage for these types of services. Most long term care and workers' compensation policies cover our services.
